Quinoa and Date Porridge

Quinoa flakes
1/2 cup
Chopped dates
1/2 cup
375 mL
CARNATION Light & Creamy Evaporated Milk
2 tbsp
Brown sugar
1/2 tsp
Banana, sliced
Natural yoghurt, to serve
Berries, to serve


  1. Place quinoa, dates, water, evaporated milk, sugar and cinnamon in a medium saucepan over high heat. Bring to the boil, reduce heat; simmer 10 minutes or until porridge is thick and creamy.


  2. Divide between 2 bowls and serve with banana, yoghurt and berries and sprinkled with extra cinnamon if desired.
